Description

FEATURES

The Diawl Bach Red Hot Head is a popular, versatile nymph pattern featuring a bright red head (or hot spot) and a red holographic rib over peacock herl with Jungle cock cheeks. Designed for deep water, it imitates various nymphs and midges, acting as a highly effective, aggressive attractor for rainbow and brown trout.

Red #8 / Barbed Barbless

TARGET FISH: Trout, Salmon.

ACTION
To effectively fish Diawl Bach flies for trout, use a floating line and cast to likely spots, allowing the fly to settle before initiating a slow, steady retrieve with figure-of-eight or short jerky strips. Pay attention to subtle movements at the end of your fly line, as trout often take delicately.
